Overview

Microneedling is also known as collagen induction therapy.  It is a minimally invasive treatment using a device that makes multiple tiny injuries in the skin.  These micro injuries result in renewal of skin structures including collagen.  This treatment can be combined with PRP for maximum results.  Microneedling can help reduce acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles and improve texture irregularities.

How long does this treatment take?

This treatment takes 45-60 minutes.

Is microneedling safe?

Yes, micro needling is a safe and effective treatment.

When will I notice results?

The effects are noticeable gradually over time. Usually, clients notice softer smoother skin after the second treatment. Multiple treatments are required for the best results.

How long will the results last?

Typically, the results will last 8 –12 months, after which the body will return to “normal”. Yearly treatments are recommended to maintain desired results.

Does this treatment hurt?

Pain is minimal with microneedling; a topical anesthetic is applied prior to the treatment.

Who is NOT a good candidate for this treatment?

People who are not in good overall physical, mental and emotional health may not be good candidates for the treatment. Women who are pregnant or nursing should not receive this treatment. Persons with active acne or cancer should not receive this treatment.
